Soil: Molasse (a soft, crumbly sandstone)
Grape variety: Viognier, Pinot Blanc
Pruning method: Guyot, 5700 vines per Ha
Average production: 55 hl/ha
Winemaking: Harvested mid-October. Low temperature fermentation. Fermented and maintained 12 months in french oak casks.
Characteristics: Golden colour with a slight amber hue.
Strength: 13.5 % ABV
Gastronomy: Fish and seafood, lobster flambé, capon, guinea fowl with wild mushrooms, matured Gruyère cheese.
Best time to drink: Now and up to 5 years after vintage.
